Context

Prysmian Group, world leader in the production of cables and systems for energy and telecommunications, has entrusted Cefla with the facility management of its headquarters located in Via Ansaldo 16, Milan. The building, characterised by an innovative design with a central garden, houses both the executive offices and the Research and Development department with specialised laboratories.

        
          The building, characterised by a structure that houses a charming garden in the centre, has two distinct parts: the offices and technical rooms of the headquarters and the Research and Development department with rooms used as laboratories.

Coordinate maintenance activities between office spaces and research laboratories, each with specific requirements in terms of climate control and safety.

Ensure uninterrupted operation of critical systems, minimising downtime and ensuring comfort for employees and visitors.

Optimise system performance to reduce energy consumption and emissions, in line with corporate sustainability objectives.

Intervention

Cefla has implemented a comprehensive facility management service that includes:

Electrical and mechanical maintenance, with particular attention to fire prevention and safety systems.

Management of air conditioning systems, including refrigeration units, fan coils, radiant panels and VRV systems, to ensure optimal environmental conditions all year round.
Support for renewable energy systems, such as photovoltaic panels, promoting the use of sustainable energy sources.
Maintenance of plumbing and special systems, ensuring the proper functioning of infrastructure.

Permanent on-site presence of specialised technical personnel for the daily management of lifts, generators, UPS and electrical panels.

Realisation

The Global Service was launched in 2021 and, thanks to the results achieved in terms of efficiency and reliability, has been renewed until April 2025. Cefla continues to provide high-level technical support, contributing to maintaining the quality and operational standards of the Prysmian site.
