As part of the event’s extensive program, Cefla will participate in the roundtable discussion titled “I-non-data – How to Successfully Navigate the Ocean of Data Available to Facility Managers, ” scheduled from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in the Hadid Room.
Data as a Strategic Resource
A constant flow of data circulates within organizations: information on buildings, systems, maintenance, consumption, performance, and services that—to generate value—must be collected, interpreted, and transformed into informed decisions. This is an increasingly central task that requires specific skills and extends beyond the already broad scope of a Facility Manager’s responsibilities.
The ability to interpret and analyze data has, in fact, become essential for effective facility management: from maintenance planning to resource optimization, all the way to the continuous improvement of asset performance.

The roundtable discussion will explore how facility management companies can support facility managers in the strategic use of data, what skills are already available on the market, and how the role of the facility manager must evolve in an increasingly data-driven environment.
