Cefla acted as general contractor for the expansion of the Tema Sinergie headquarters, managing the detailed design and construction of the entire project. This complex project, completed in record time, integrates production spaces, offices, and reception areas into a single architectural structure.

Background

For over forty years, Tema Sinergie has been operating in the health, wellness, and safety sectors, with an international positioning in nuclear medicine, theranostics, oncology radiotherapy, and pharmaceuticals.

The expansion of the Faenza headquarters responds to the company's growth and the need for adequate space for the development of production, management, and communication activities.

Challenges

  • A very tight schedule and a design change during construction.

  • The almost total lack of available operational space on the construction site.

  • The need to ensure continuity of operation of the existing headquarters during construction. 

Project Tasks

The expansion is divided into three linear, two-story buildings, connected to the existing building by transparent connecting volumes. Buildings 6A and 6B and the ground floor of 6C are intended for production and storage, while the upper levels house offices, a sky bar, a training room, and spaces for events and meetings, complete with a terrace and green roof.

Implementation

Cefla oversaw the building and plant engineering, from the structure to the roof, using prefabricated solutions and advanced technological systems to ensure efficiency, reliability, and safety. The external envelope is enhanced by perforated sheet metal sunshades, which characterize the complex's image, while the mechanical, electrical, and special systems ensure functionality and comfort in the workspaces.
