In 1932, at a time of severe economic crisis, Cefla was established as a workshop to give young people a chance for employment.
The first big job was the construction of the heating system for Lolli Hospital in Imola. A job order worth 120,000 liras. The roots of what is now the Engineering Business Unit date back to this period.
Over the years, the company has diversified strongly, developing new areas of Business, but has also remained true to its historical soul, in the implementation of complex technological systems, including General Contracting.
