To support farms-or at any rate farms that produce agro-industrial waste-in the transition from traditional combustion-based energy sources, Cefla has developed NOVAbio by Cefla, a solution that integrates Bloom Energy's Energy Server™ fuel cell module in a CHP version, and thus produces electricity and thermal energy:
- by zeroing emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere (NOx, SOx, CO, particulate matter)
- achieving greater efficiency (efficiency exceeds 80%)
- -30% biogas input: the higher efficiency makes it possible to reduce the digester feed to produce biogas, so for the same electrical production, savings of agricultural biomass feed to the digester can be achieved varying between 30 and a 50%

NOVAbio by Cefla is a modular solution that starts from a power value of 250kW and multiples (500kW, 750kW, 1MW, 2MW ...) which can be easily customized in case more power is needed, and is easy to install thanks to its "plug&play" logic.
