The subintensive care unit opened on December 9, 2024 - in the presence of the President of the Lazio Region. Located on the first floor of the Santa Maria Goretti Hospital in Latina, it has 20 patient beds with two infectious disease beds.

With Andrea Tarli and Maurizio Amato, Cefla was in charge of the complete construction of the new ward: from the demolition work through the construction design - which was submitted to the contracting station, adding some improvements to the initial design - to the civil works required by the ward (anti-static floors, operating rooms etc. ); Cefla was also in charge of the construction of the new power generation and air treatment plant for the entire ward, with control logics through BMS.

"It was a highly challenging project, given the tight schedule and the architectural geometry with low inter-floor height.
We would like to thank the ASL (Local Health Authority) of Latina, which supported us constantly throughout the works, and all the suppliers who worked alongside Cefla,"
said Maurizio Amato - PM.
