Energy HUB: from concept to implementation. The Itala case study

The dairy sector confirms its strong interest in Cefla's Energy HUB solutions, recognizing in a planned technological management an important strategic lever that is fundamental for companies. After the recent collaboration with Igor Gorgonzola, we are proud to announce a new partnership with Itala, a new entrepreneurial reality from Mantua, which makes product innovation one of its strengths; the company aims to consolidate itself on the national scene as the leading producer of curd from 100% Italian cow's milk.

On anarea of about 41,000 m², the new production plant is under construction. Cefla is in charge of the entire design and construction of the thermal and electrical generation systems; the project is the result of a synergic work that starts from the energy analysis, passes through the design, to the construction and future management of the plant.

The real innovation? Overcoming the traditional use of steam in favor of technologies that use hot water.

What does the project consist of?

• Energy Consulting: Specialized consulting on plants and energy efficiency;

• Power Generation: Dual cogeneration (325 kW Fuel Cell NOVA SOLUTION by Cefla and 1300 kW endothermic engine);

• Thermal Storage: Latest generation boilers and hot water storage system;

• Asset Management: Full Service Full maintenance and document management of the entire power plant.
