In a scenario like the current one, in which climate change has an increasing impact on companies, regardless of the sector they belong to, there is no industry, data center, shopping center, airport, exhibition space, multiservice company, management center that does not need to invest in concrete projects that generate efficiency, particularly energy efficiency, and economic savings, and to optimize processes and safeguard resources, particularly natural resources.
With this mission in mind, Cefla and Unica Ingegneria have created the new company Pre-vision, which aims to be a leader in providing innovative solutions for energy efficiency, optimization of industrial processes, efficient management of networks and in particular of water resources, particularly as far as leakage prediction is concerned.
The technical know-how of the founding partners, focused on developments in the AI field, make of Pre-vision s.r.l. an immediately operational player in the market - with valuable process and technology expertise. Expertise in process technology, operational presence throughout the country, engineering capabilities, experience in infrastructure management, strategic planning and market positioning, commercial leadership, and experience in business development in target markets are some of the skills brought by the partners into the new venture.
The company's main objective is to bring Cefla Engineering's en.vision platform to market - with its solid customer base in the world of cogeneration, datacenters, the industrial world, and multiutilities sector. The platform has a mission: to support clients in designing sustainable and resilient solutions as opportunities to improve efficiency and profits, with a social responsibility approach.
Designing, developing and implementing investments on the sustainability front thus becomes an opportunity to cope with rising costs, or possible disruptions in production, including as a result of climate change.
"Many companies today have clear objectives with respect to the issues of efficiency, energy transition and safeguarding primary assets, also in the broader context of climate neutrality goals set as an EU target by 2050. For Cefla Engineering, the first step is to support companies, as well as large infrastructures, in order to generate efficiency and protect natural resources, with a predictive approach, and thus cope with climate change.
Through en.vision Cefla, which already supports companies in designing and implementing decarbonization, has one more ally that leverages Artificial Intelligence to generate increasingly optimized and timely solutions, and will rely on the support of Unica Ingegneria through the creation of Pre-vision to cater, in an even more structured way, for a wider pool of sectors and connections," explains Massimo Milani, Managing Director, Business Unit Engineering, Cefla.
"Unica Ingegneria's design experience of the entire energy infrastructure supply chain and the Utilities world, and its partnership with Cefla-which for more than 90 years has been active in the field of development of efficiency projects and implementation and management of complex facilities aimed at improving the environments in which people live-make of Pre-vision a unique partner for predictive skills and critical sense in choosing sustainable opportunities that make a difference on energy impact, resource preservation and profit maximization," says Angelo Munno, Business Development Director, Unica Ingegneria.
