The expansion of the headquarters of Tema Sinergie, an important high-tech company that is a leading player in the health, wellness and safety market, has been completed in record time.
Cefla acted as general contractor, deploying all its technical and operational know-how to carry out a very important intervention for the entire Faenza community.
The three new bodies in line are connected to the existing building by transparent connective volumes. Mainly intended for manufacturing and warehousing activities, they also house offices and spaces for training and events. Flanked by a terrace and green roof, the sky bar occupies part of the flat roof. The renewal of the architectural image is entrusted to a striking perforated sheet metal sunshade protecting the main facades.
A lean and competent team took care of both the executive design (structures, building, plant engineering) and the execution of all works, including structural and construction works from excavation to roofing.
Timely and flexible site organization and the use of high-profile partners, for example for prefabricated construction systems, reduced the duration of works, which began in February 2022 and were completed in February 2025.
In addition to the construction works Cefla was responsible for the installation of mechanical, electrical and special systems, from the new thermo-cooling plant to the distribution sub-station for the mechanical systems, to all the new technological networks serving the expansion, characterized by reliable, efficient and safe solutions and technologies that guarantee operational continuity.
The Tema Sinergie project, created by Maura Cantagalli with Cefla, won the Architetti Italiani 2026 award at Templum, an event promoted by Architetti Italiani at the Campidoglio in Rome and sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security, and the National Council of Architects, Planners, Landscape Architects and Conservationists.
