Cefla renews its commitment to SEA Milan Airports - Società Esercizi Aeroportuali, for the installation and extraordinary maintenance of electrical and special systems at Milan Linate and Milan Malpensa airports - among the busiest in Italy.
The recent awarding of the agreement for the years 2025-2028 covers the activities of executive design and implementation of extraordinary maintenance for civil, road and plant works - in an RTI (Temporary association of Enterprises) with GENCANTIERI S.P.A. - and provides for a more versatile approach that allows for the streamlining of administrative processes and fast-tracks the works, relying on the organizational, technical and financial resources made available by Cefla according to individual project objectives.
Cefla has set up a highly professional team that works with SEA's technical staff to identify the most efficient and cost-effective solutions and to schedule actions, managing several construction sites that are often simultaneous and far apart - while complying with all airport safety regulations.
From the upgrading of technological power plants to the adaptation of networks and terminals serving collective and commercial spaces, all actions are coordinated with SEA so as to minimize inconvenience to passengers and staff.
Cefla has also contributed to major redevelopment and upgrading projects for airport infrastructure and services, from the mechanical systems in Terminal 1 (2011) to the refrigeration plant for the Passenger Terminal and Cargo Area (2014), to the new passenger terminal for the upcoming 2026 Winter Olympics at Linate (2024, for SEA Prime).
